Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been blogging lately but I've been working 12 hrs a day 7 days a week.(haven't had a day off since July 4th) This is unusual for me to work so much but we are probably going to go out on strike and I really want the extra cash so if we do it won't be so hard.

I had a question from Mel who wanted to know my b-day. It was July 11th. I'm sorry Mel I couldn't figure how to get back to your site. One of these days (soon) I'm gonna sit down and play and learn how to do this.

I really would like to thank you guys for stopping in. One of these days I will get the pictures of my horses on here and tell you about each one.

Lea, I will get you those reciepes and put them on here soon, I promise. I even have a new one that I think you will like .Its called Texas Caviar. Its really good to eat with chips.

I almost forgot, I did 2 baby quilts and an apron this past month even after working so much. That is my relaxation after a hectic day.

My daughter Jenn starts a new job tmr. As she said in her own words "I'm no longer unemployed Hurray". And yesterday (July 26th) was her birthday. So Happy Birthday, Baby
hope you enjoyed.

gotta go back and work some more

Good Morning All

Usually I'm asleep but not tonight. I was crazy today I volunteered to work and 8pm to 530am shift. And to I was so busy till 344am.I was the only one here. I ususally work Sunday - Wednesday 10 hr days so this is totally overtime but I've been up since Thursday at 6am so I am getting a little giddy. Enough crying on your shoulders.

I have been wondering has anyone heard from Lea at Farmhouse Blessings? I have been going to her blog several times a day since lst Friday. I've had her and Colton and the family on my mind can't seem to get them.

We have a new colt. He is 2 weeks old. We named him Tucker. He is really sweet. As soon as I learn how to download pictures on here I will put them on for all too see. (As you can tell I am really new at this computer stuff, except for work I was never on it much at home but my job is slow some days and I get bored. So I will blog some while here).

I need lots of help so if anyone can give me ideas on how to post and things that go with this new blogging experience please do so.

Well I gotta go. I got some work to do before my relief comes in at 530.

I had a request from Dottie for this receipe. I hope you enjoy them if you try them. They are great for Potlucks and carry ins.

Here goes:
1 stick butter
5 pounds of potatoes chunked and peeled
1 jar of chopped banana pepper rings hot or mild depending on your taste ( I use hot)
1 chopped onion
1 package of sliced pepperoni
1 package of smoked sausage
6 cups of shredded cheese ( i use either colby, colby jack or pepper jack)

In a large roasting pan melt butter. Add the next 5 ingredients. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees till poatotes are tender. I usually check after 45 minutes to see if done. When tender uncover and sprinkle generously with the cheese. You can always use more than 6 cups if you like them cheesy. Bake till cheese is melted.

I like to serve these potatoes with pinto beans and mexican cornbread.
